An investigation is underway into a stabbing in Bloomfield that left one person injured.
Police were called to the area of John F. Kennedy Drive near Bloomfield Avenue at around 9:20 p.m. on reports of a person suffering a stab injury at that location.
Arriving emergency responders located the victim bleeding from an apparent stab wound to the chest according to reports.
EMS transported to victim to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Paterson suffering serious injuries.
There were no immediate reports of any arrests made in the incident.
