Police in Newark are on the search for several armed men who snatched away a vehicle from a victim in the city early this morning.
Cops were called to the 300 block of North 6th Street at around 6 a.m. on reports of a carjacking at gunpoint.
Arriving unit located the victim who reported being approached by 3 to 4 male suspects who were armed with a gun and knives when they demanded the vehicle with threats of bodily harm according to reports.
The carjacked vehicle is being reported as a **BURGUNDY** 2003 Honda Civic with Maryland license plates "A20A007"
There were no immediate reports of injuries to the victim.
