Firefighters in Irvington swiftly knocked down a blaze that ignited inside a house on Sager Place this evening.
Crews were called to the 14 Sager Place at around 5:30 p.m. after residents reported seeing smoke coming from the windows on the second level of the single familyl home according to fire officials.
Arriving crews immediately ran several lines inside the house, quickly knocking down visible flames.
The fire was brought under control in under a half hour.
A woman was treated by EMS at the scene for minor smoke inhalation. There were no other injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Irvington Fire Department.
