Police is Toms River are asking for the public's help in identifying this woman caught on surveillance after fraudulently withdrawing over $8,000 from various TD Bank branches using a stolen debit card.
On Mar. 12 sometime around 2 p.m., there were two car burglaries in the parking lot of the Toms River Fitness Center on Route 37. In each of the incidents, the car's window were smashed and a purse was taken.
A witness reported seeing four black males congregating around one of the victim's vehicles prior to the theft. He also noted they left in a vehicle which he described as possibly a dark colored "Nissan Cube".
On Mar. 16, one of the victims was notified that her bank account was compromised. A female suspect was captured on the surveillance tape withdrawing over $8,000 at multiple TD Bank branches. The branch locations were Golden Crest (Hamilton Twp), Pennington, Princeton, and Hilllsborough Township.
For each transaction, the female suspect presented a savings withdrawal slip, and used the victim's drivers license as identification. The suspect's vehicle appears to be a "Fiat 500", 4 door black, possibly 2016 model year.
