NEWARK NJ: Emergency responders are on the scene of a crash with several people injured and being transported to the hospital at this time.
The crash happened on North 5th and 6th Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. where crews rushed to the scene and located a badly damaged car with injured occupants.
Police are looking for a black Dodge with New York plates that fled the scene towards 7th Avenue.
The fleeing vehicle has heavy front end damage.
None of the injuries are being reported as life threatening
