Police in Linden and Monmouth County are seeking the whereabouts of a Linden woman reported missing on March 8, 2016, where she was last seen being dropped off at the Long Branch train station at approximately 7:00PM.
Detectives from Linden are working with several other agencies and the NJ Transit Police Department where they are looking over video footage to locate the woman.
According to authorities, on March 8, 2016, Tyrita R. Julius, 41, of Linden, went to lunch with a friend in Monmouth County.
Authorities said Julius did not have a car because her original vehicle was struck by several bullets last November when a gunman approached their vehicle and shot at her and her daughter while they were in the car.
Her daughter suffered a graze wound but Mrs. Julius was struck several times and was hospitalized for a
period of time authorities said.
Julius is still undergoing physical therapy, according to family members. Her friend told police that she dropped Mrs. Julius off at the Long Branch train
station for the ride back to Linden but she never arrived.
Linden Police have posted her photo on their Facebook page and circulated her information to police agencies statewide.
She is 5’7” 150 lbs. brown eyes black hair and medium complexion.
She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black and white snow camo cargo pants and has a tattoo of the letters “L-O-V-E” on her right wrist and a tattoo of a butterfly on her right shoulder. She also has scar wounds from the shooting incident.
