Authorities in North Bergen identified two people killed as two teenagers who were struck by a car that lost control and jumped the curb late last night near Union City High School.
According to Hudson County Sheriff Frank X. Schillari, two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, ages 16 and 17, while the third, age 17, is listed as critical
All of the victims were transported to the Jersey City Medical Center where the teens died a short time later authorities said.
Authorities have announced one arrest in connection with the accident.
The incident happened at about 9:15 p.m. at the corner of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and 26th Street authorities said.
