There is a manhunt underway for at least two suspects who are responsible for a stabbing that happened a short time ago in Newark's North Ward.
Police responded to the area of Wakeman Avenue at Nursery Street at around 3:25 p.m. on reports of an injured person.
Units arrived to find a male victim suffering non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital while police searched the area for a two Hispanic males, one was last seen wearing a Plaid jacket, and a sweatshirt.
The men reportedly fled towards Mt. Pleasant Street.
