Authorities are investigating a stabbing that left a male victim seriously injured in Paterson overnight.
Police setup a crime scene near a bar in the 400 block of Main Street after the seriously injured victim walked into St. Joseph's Hospital shortly before 3 a.m.
Hospital officials contacted police when the victim reported to them that he was stabbed by an unknown assailant near the bar.
The victim's injuries have not been reported as life threatening.
There were no immediate report of an arrest made.
