Union police today announced the arrest of a 21-year-old Maplewood man for last month's apartment complex shooting.
On Feb. 5, Isiah "Zay" Jackson - a member of the Grape Street Crips gang - is accused of shooting a 19-year-old man multiple times near Walker Avenue in the Mill Run apartment complex.
The unidentified victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition, according to police.
Jackson was taken to custody on Feb. 23, at a relative's home in South Orange. He was charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession charges.
His bail was set at $500,000 by Union Municipal Court Judge Jonathan Rosenbluth and he was remanded to the Union County Jail.
