Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson announced a juvenile suspect will be tried as an adult in connection with a Camden homicide.
Tatianna Harrison, 17, of Berlin Borough, appeared in juvenile court yesterday on a first-degree murder charge and had her case waived to adult court. Harrison, who was 16 when the shooting occurred, is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. today before Superior Court Judge Edward J. McBride Jr. in courtroom 36 at the Camden County Hall of Justice.
Harrison is accused of fatally shooting 21-year-old Vincent T. Bland of Pennsauken on August 12, 2015. Camden County Police found Bland suffering from a gunshot wound when officers responded around 6 a.m. to a report of a male lying on the ground in a lot near South 5th and Benson streets in Camden. Bland was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on August 20, 2015.
