A three-alarm fire erupted inside a historic Mendham mansion, sending firefighters to the scene early this morning.
Firefighter responded to the Pitney Farm mansion on Cold Hill Road shortly after 2:30 a.m. for reports of heavy flames throughout the approximately 12,000 sq. ft. structure.
There were no immediate report of injuries and crews have not reported the blaze under control as of 4:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
