Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say robbed a convenience store while armed with a metal bar.
The Montclair Police Department reports that on Saturday, February 13, at 10:45 p.m. a female employee was alone in the Krauszer's store at 150 Valley Road when a male suspect entered brandishing a 3-foot metal bar.
The suspect forced the employee over to the register demanding money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money that the employee gave the him from register.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5'5"-5'7" with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a hooded army green jacket, black mask, and gloves.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
