An armed robbery at gunpoint of a liquor store in Newark has police searching for the suspect responsible.
Police are looking for a 6'2" black male suspect who was last seen wearing dark colored clothing and black sneakers (with stripes) when he walked into a liquor store in the 300 block of Clinton Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. armed with a gun.
The suspect reportedly pointed the weapon at an employee and demanded cash from the register according to reports.
According to store employees, the suspect took and undetermined amount of cash, a cellphone, and an iPad before running away from the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
