Police are on the scene of shooting where police found a 21-year-old man injured in the city last night.
Gunfire erupted in the area of Marshall Drive near the Hoboken Housing Authority property at approximately 8 p.m., sending police to the scene. The victim, who managed to run several blocks to get help, was found suffering from gunshot wounds to both legs, according to police.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.
Police have a crime scene established and extra units have been brought in to help control a crowd that's beginning to form.
According to initial investigations, the shooting was a result of a dispute on a basketball court.
