Linden police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a residential burglary suspect.
According to police, Jovany Infante, 36, a resident of N. Stiles Street in Linden, is wanted in connection with a residential burglary committed in May, 2015.
Detectives say that Infante burglarized a residence in his neighborhood and had cut himself leaving blood evidence behind.
The evidence was submitted to the Union County Crime Laboratory for analysis. After several months of investigation by detectives, an arrest warrant for Infante was recently issued charging him with burglary.
Bail has been set at $25,000.
Efforts to locate Infante have been unsuccessful up to this date.
