Police are on the search for a bank robbery suspects that reportedly robbed a bank in the city's North Ward this afternoon.
Cops responded to a robbery in progress report that happened at the Banco Popular Bank located in the 500 block of Bloomfield Avenue at around 3 p.m.
Arriving units were approached by employees who reported that a black males suspect who appeared to be around the age of 35-40 entered the bank and handed one of the tellers a note then made a threat.
The suspect was last seen wearing a brown jacket, beige scully hat, and weighs about 180-200 pounds when he fled the scene east on Bloomfield Avenue.
It is not immediately known how much proceeds (if any) the suspect got away with.
EMS were called to the scene to evaluate one of the tellers who was not physically injured.
