An overnight armed robbery in the city's North Ward has police in Newark searching for a suspect.
The incident occurred in the area of Broadway and 2nd Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. where two male suspects approached a victim at gunpoint and demanded personal possessions.
The victim handed over several items before the men ran from the scene.
The suspects are described as black and hispanic males who were last seen wearing dark clothing, and were both armed with guns according to the victim.
The men are also wanted for at least one other armed robbery that happened in the North Ward authorities said.
There were no immediate reports of physical injuries.
