Authorities said Santi was shot while in the three hundred block of North 12th Street in Newark during the early morning hours of August 27, 2015.
An investigation by the Essex County Major Crimes Task Force, which includes detectives from the Newark Police Department, led detectives to charge the juvenile with Santi's murder according to authorities.
