The Piscataway Police Department is seeking the public's assistance with an assault investigation.
According to authorities, on October 26, 2015, at around 5:50 PM, a woman was assaulted on Silverton Place.
Police said black male suspects approached the victim, one brandishing a silver handgun, and demanded to know where a person named "EJ" was. The suspects fled the location on foot and possibly entered a burgundy sport utility vehicle that was operated by a third black male suspect.
Suspect #1 was described as a black male, 25-35 yrs old, 5'5"-5'8" tall, weighing 170-190 lbs, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and jeans. He was described as having short, patchy facial hair with two moles on his face.
Suspect #2 was described as a black male, 30-40 yrs old, 5'9"-6'0" tall, weighing 200-215 lbs, with a medium build. He was seen wearing a black book bag and a gray sweat suit. He was described as having a full goatee beard with patchy sides.
The attached composite sketches are the work of Detective I Dennis Cappello of the NJSP Forensic Artist Unit. They are based on the victim's description.
