A city man was rushed to the hospital this afternoon after he was critically injured by gunfire.
Police responded to the area of Walnut Avenue and Chambers Street around 6 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim who was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Authorities are investigating the shooting.
