Investigators from the Warren County Prosecutor's Officer are investigating a fatal pedestrian strike that happened late last night in Knowlton/Delaware Twp.
According to authorities, first responders rushed to the 60's block of Rt. 46 near Hunters Lodge at around 1:25 a.m. on reports of a person suffering serious injuries at that location.
Police and medical crews arrived to find a male victim laying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead a short time later at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that struck that victim reportedly stayed at the scene and was cooperative with authorities.
The incident is under investigation.
