A chain-reaction crash on the Garden State Parkway left several people seriously injured in Hillside.
A Chevy Trail Blazer operated by Jessie Busch, of Hazlet, rear-ended a 2000 Chevy Tracker driven by Marjorie Hillas, of Roselle, in the southbound center lane of the Garden State Parkway near mile marker 142.8 at approximately 10:08 p.m.
A third vehicle – a Nissan Path Finder – driven by Mitchi BellMuhmmad, of East Orange, then rear-ended the Chevy Trail Blazer which consequently struck the Chevy Tracker again.
According to police, there were a total of five people injured who were all transported to University Hospital in Newark (three via ambulance and two via Medivac helicopter).

Chevy Trail Blazer: Jessie Busch (Driver) & Shaiff Prophet, 38 (Front seat passenger)
Nissan Path Finder: Mitchi BellMuhmmad (Driver) & Fard Muhammad, 62 (Passenger)
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
