A $3,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the death of a local store owner who was shot to death during the Dec. 19 robbery at his Bergen Avenue clothing store.
On Dec. 19, police responded
to Top Plus, 905 Bergen Avenue, for a report of a robbery sometime before 5 p.m.
Once officers arrived to the scene, they found Byungeun Lee, 61, suffering from a gunshot wounds to the head.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, they are investigating the fatal shooting of Lee, which appears to have been a robbery gone wrong.
The Hudson County Korean-American Chamber of Commerce collected the money for the reward in hope that someone steps forward with information.
