Police conducted a search in the area around the 70's block of Union Boulevard for a male suspect wanted for walking into a convenience store in the area and slashed a female employee with a box cutter before fleeing the scene.
The incident was reported at around 3:30 a.m. at Quick Check Store where the woman's injuries were considered non-life threatening.
The man has only been described as a white male wearing dark clothing.
There were immediate reports of arrests.
The motive for the slashing is under investigation.
