Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle reported a one-to-one aide at a Gloucester Township middle school has been arrested for sexually assaulting a former student.
Jennifer Pasquarello, 41, of Somerdale, is charged with one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
It is alleged Pasquarello, who worked at the Glen Landing Middle School, engaged in sexual acts with a former male student on multiple occasions between November 2013 and May 2015. The alleged crimes occurred off school property and began when the victim was 14 years old.
On Monday morning, detectives met with Pasquarello, who currently works at the Ann Mullen Middle School, and transported her from the school to Gloucester Township Police headquarters, where she was charged. She is being held at the Camden County Jail with bail set at $300,000 cash or bond.
The Gloucester Township School District has been fully cooperative in this ongoing investigation. The district immediately terminated Pasquarello after being notified of the charges against her.
