Burlington County authorities are investigating a car crash that fatally injured one person and sent about five to the hospital last night.
First responders rushed to the area of NJ-70 and County Road 530 shortly before 9:30 p.m. where rescue crews arrived to immediately began the extrication process to free several people that were trapped inside a badly damaged vehicle.
It too crews less than fifteen minutes to free about five victims that were suffering various serious injuries.
All of the victims were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton via Medevac helicopters where one of the victims died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
