A woman was punched in the face by a purse snatcher that took off in a bicycle earlier today.
Police responded to the the 400 block of North 13th Street for a report of a strong armed robbery.
Upon arrival, police met with the female victim who told police a that a black man -who was last seen wearing a black hoodie and had a nose ring - punched her in the face before taking off with her purse.
The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle and was last observed heading south on North 13th Street.
Police are investigating.
