Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a 7-Eleven store in the city early this morning.
According to initial reports, two armed men entered the store - located on the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue - at approximately 6:46 a.m. and announced a hold up.
The suspects - only described as two black males, wearing all black - brandished a gun making off with approximately $700 in cash.
The suspects were last seen fleeing by the train tracks.
The employee was not injured.
An investigation by the Elizabeth Police Dept. Detective Bureau is underway.
