Police: Missing Jersey City Man Considered 'Endangered' Last Seen in Hillside

Police are considering a Jersey City man, who went missing Saturday afternoon after he left to walk a dog in Hillside, an "endangered missing person.

Authorities say 53-year-old Donald Rouse was last seen Saturday around 12:20 p.m. on the 20’s block of Race Street in Hillside, after he left to walk ‘Poppie Chulo‘,a small white dog.

Donald is described as a medium complexion male, approximately 5'6" and between 140 to 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing black slippers, black socks, black pants, gray jacket and a black skull cap.

The dog had a camouflage collar and hasn't returned to the home.

According to police, Donald is considered endangered due to a mental illness (non-violent).

The case has been turned over to the Hillside police detective bureau. As of this date and time, Donald remains missing.
