Authorities are on the search for an armed robbery suspect that struck a gas station last night in the city.
Police responded to an armed robbery in progress report that happened at a Lukeoil gas station located in the 300 block of Ridge Road shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Units arriving to the scene had employees report to them that a black male suspect who was armed with a knife, ordered cash from them shortly before officers arrived.
The suspect was reportedly 6'5" tall and was last seen wearing dark clothing when he fled the area with several hundred dollars obtained from the gas station.
There were no injuries reported.
