Passaic County authorities are investigating an early morning armed robbery that happened at a Rite Aid in the city.
Police responded to the establishment that's located in the 400 block of Lexington Ave. shortly before 4 a.m. where they began a search for a male suspect who entered the store wearing a mask and a hoodie when he brandished a knife and demanded cash.
The suspect was handed over an undetermined amount of cash before he fled the scene on foot according to reports.
There were no physical injuries reported.
