Authorities are investigating a police-involved shooting that killed an allegedly armed man this morning, authorities said.
Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said police received a call shortly after 11:30 a.m. about a suicidal male at 510 Wild Oaks Ct.
Arriving officers, were confronted by a 47-year-old man who was ultimately shot and killed in the confrontation.
No details were provided as to what led to the confrontation, or the identity of the man involved.
