An overnight double stabbing in Newark has police searching for a suspect.
EMS transported two victims to University Hospital after the pair suffered stab injuries.
Police responded to an address in the 400 block of Roseville Ave. a little after 11:30 p.m. on reports of injured victims who were possibly stabbed at that location.
Units arrived to the scene to find the first victim suffering a life threatening stab wound to the neck. A further investigation had officers locate a second victim suffering a non-life threatening stab wound to the arm according to reports.
Authorities are reportedly looking for a 5'10" Hispanic male who weighs about 180 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans when he fled southbound on Roseville Ave.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
