Authorities have released surveillance photos of a man accused of robbing a TD Bank branch earlier today.
Officers were dispatched to the TD Bank - located at 10 Mule Road - at approximately 4:40 p.m. for a report of a robbery.
According to police, a white male entered the bank wearing a black pea coat and sunglasses. The man then filled out a bank slip at the reception counter and presented it to the teller. The note demanded money.
The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Crime Scene Investigative Unit, Ocean County Prosecutors Office and the he Federal Bureau of Investigation are assisting the Toms River Criminal Investigation Division.
