A fatal shooting that happened in the city's East Ward has authorities on the scene investigating.
Details regarding the shooting are very limited at this time but a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's office told RLS Metro that a crime scene that's established near a trucking company on the 100 block of Ave. C at Miller Street is for a shooting homicide investigation.
"We are in the preliminary stages of a homicide investigation and will release further details as hey become available" the spokesperson said.
