Hundred of kids filled with excitement waited outside M&M'S Halloween pop-up store yesterday anxiously awaiting for the opportunity of obtaining a free costume.
M&M'S® wanted to bring its trademark colorful fun to Newark, the birthplace of America's favorite chocolate candies, by providing a vibrant community some much deserved fun.
Yesterday, M&M'S® distributed thousands of costumes and candies to children that arrived to their Halloween pop-up M&M'S store located at 744 Broad Street.
Don't worry if you didn't make it yesterday, today you have a second opportunity to visit the pop-up store from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
However, the fun does not end there. In partnership with the City of Newark and the United Way of Essex County, the brand will host the M&M'S Family Fun Zone from 4 – 8 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Recreation Center located at 211 West Kinney Street.
The family-friendly event will feature activities including face painting, caricature drawing and balloonists plus free candy.
