Police have identified man killed over the weekend in one of two shootings in Paterson.
Police responded to 118 Montgomery Street at about 11:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting, said Police Director Jerry Speziale.
Upon arrival, police found 30-year-old Rayshon Blow-Herdon, of Paterson, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Hours later, police setup a crime scene on the corner of Main and Weiss streets at about 4:15 a.m., after a reported shooting.
During an apparent altercation, a 39-year-old city man was shot and wounded in the neck, police said.
The victim is in critical but stable condition at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, police said.
