An investigation is underway into a fire that destroyed two buildings in the city.
The three-alarm fire tore through two building , leaving one in danger of collapsing shortly before 4 a.m. in the 60's block of River Street.
Firefighters arrived to find the blaze had already spread to an adjoining home on the block.
Crews were hampered by live electrical wires down in the street in front of the building, and also had some water supply issues.
Mutual aid from several neighboring departments assisted in fighting the fire that lasted for about two hours before the blaze was placed under control.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire which appears to have started on the second floor.
There were no injuries reported.
