Newark South Ward Dunkin Donuts Robbed at Gun Point; Second Armed Robbery in 48-Hours

Authorities in Newark are on the search for two armed robbers that held up a Dunkin Donuts restaurant a short time ago in the city's South Ward.

Police responded to the establishment located at Lyons Ave. and Clinton Place at around 5 p.m. where they began a search for a black male and a white male who were last seen wearing dark clothing and masks when they entered the store armed with guns and took an undetermined amount of cash.

The black male reportedly wore dark pants and orange sneakers.

The suspects fled the scene onto Clinton Place possibly occupying a 2008-2009 grey Jeep Cherokee.

This is the second armed robbery of the establishment in less than 48-hours.
