There is a rescue operation underway for a vehicle that's in a Belleville river with occupants trapped.
Rescue crews rushed to the area of Franklin Ave. and Mill Street (Second River) at around 7:50 a.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle in the river with occupants inside.
First responders arrived to the scene and removed at least one person from the vehicle in an unknown condition a short time later.
