Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray is asking for assistance from the public in identifying two persons of interest in the murder of Arthur DeMarsico, 68, of Newark.
According to authorities, DeMarsico was attacked in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue, Newark, where he lived, on Sept. 25, at approximately 8:17 p.m.
He died from his injuries the next day at 6:40 am at University Hospital. Authorities said the cause of death was blunt force trauma.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is looking for two men in the video who may have information regarding the crime.
