Police are on the search for a pair of armed carjackers that struck overnight in Newark.
Authorities are looking for a yellow 2015 Toyota Corolla Hybrid with a license plate number "6HA2" taken by two men who were armed with weapons shortly before 1:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Roseville.
According to the victim, two males wearing hoodies approached armed with weapons when they forcefully took the vehicle.
The victim flagged down an EMS vehicle who reportedly contacted police.
The carjacked vehicle is being reported as a taxi cab.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
