Police in South Orange are investigating a reported stabbing that injured one person in the city this evening.
Reports of a person suffering a serious stab injury sent authorities to the area of Vose Ave. and Stewart Place just before 9 p.m. where they located the victim.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital in Newark where the victim was reported to be in stable condition.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
There were no reports of arrests.
