A man accused of stabbing two people in Old Bridge has been taking into custody after barricading himself inside his Woodbridge home.
According to officials, Rodney Jencsik allegedly stabbed Dina Marie Heil and second man before he fled to his Freddie Avenue home in Woodbridge.
Heil was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second unidentified victim is still alive but I'm unknown condition.
Jencsik then allegedly barricaded himself inside his home on Freddie Avenue in Woodbridge.
The standoff, which lasted several hours, came to an end after Jencsik was shot and taken into custody.
Jencsik was taken to the hospital for treatment.
