A reported armed carjacking that happened in the city has police on the scene investigating.
Police responded to the area on Madison Ave. and Brookside Ave. at around 6:35 p.m. for reports of a carjacking at gunpoints.
Units arrived to the scene where they located the victim who reported that a heavy-set black male suspect brandished a gun and made off with a white BMW.
A license plate number was not immediately available.
There were no physical injuries reported.
