Jersey City Police are investigating a brutal stabbing that left one person seriously injured in the city.
Cops were called to the 100 block of Bergen Ave. shortly after 1:30 a.m. on reports of a person seriously injured from a possible stab wound.
Units arrived to the scene to find the victim bleeding heavily after reportedly being stabbed multiple times.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center suffering critical injuries.
Police searched the area for a possible suspect but there were no reports of an arrest made.
A full investigation is underway by the Jersey City Police Department.
