Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Newark Police Director Eugene Venable announced today that the Newark Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the fatal shooting of Tahim Teague, 21, of Newark.
Teague was shot on Sept. 19 in the 100 block of South 12th Street and a pronounced dead at University Hospital.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
At this time, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
