Authorities are investigating a fatal fall that happened in the city earlier this afternoon.
According to authorities, 63-year-old Nikolaos Kourtelesis of Caldwell fell from a bicycle after hitting a curb at around 12:25 p.m. on Bloomfield Ave. and Westover Ave.
Kourtelesis was rushed to Mountainside Hospital suffering a head injury and pronounced dead a short time later authorities said.
It is not immediately known is the victim was wearing a helmet.
There was no vehicle involved in the incident.
