Several arrested after early morning drug raids across New Jersey.
As part of a joint-investigation by several Essex County law enforcement agencies, this morning police raided several locations in connection to a heroin distribution ring operating mainly in Newark.
Officers raided a home on the 100 block of Spruce Street in Newark, taking a man and woman into custody from that location.
A second raid at a Hobson Street home had at least one person in custody.
In Union County, a team of officers were seen removing boxes and bags from a home on the 400 block of Hancock Street. One person was reportedly taken into custody at that location.
